The power of high contrast black and white photography can, of course, be challenged. While I am coming to enjoy this approach more and more, with this photo taken just outside Taos, New Mexico, I thought I would experiment by adding some selective color. This led to movement of whole portions of the photo to try and tell different stories. The title of my base photo is The Long Road--a ubiquitous subject in photography. My treatment of The Long Road, however is unique with this "anarchy of color and shapes."
